Dr. Ajay K. Sawhney, D.C.

After secondary school, Dr. Ajay K. Sawhney pursued his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychobiology with an emphasis in Neuroscience. During his second year of college, he suffered a low back injury and went through the entire medical circus of pain medication, physical therapy, and cortisone injections, all of which offered him no relief.

He decided to visit a chiropractor, a decision that would change his life. Not only was his back pain completely resolved, but he noticed a complete shift in his overall health.  He no longer suffered from the monthly headaches he used to get, and he didn’t contract the annual flu that he used to suffer from all his life. Through these personal experiences with wellness care and the neuroscience classes he was taking at the time, he began to understand how the nervous system controls every system in our bodies down to the cellular level and how computerized treatment can directly remove the interference in that system. It was astonishing.

After graduation, he knew he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare and was so inspired by his wellness experience that he enrolled in school and halfway through, decided to also attain a degree in Chinese Medicine as an alternative way to help people without the use of pharmaceuticals or surgery. Dr. Sawhney graduated with a Doctorate in 2000 and in 2001 with a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Soon after he received his licenses, he started working with several orthopedic and medical clinics, but they were designed to only treat symptoms, and he eventually found that he had become part of the “symptom based” model. He had forgotten what inspired him to become a practitioner in the first place: to be able to offer people true overall health and wellness.

This is why Dr. Sawhney has decided to join his closest friend and colleague Dr. Manjit Gauba and bring Divine Spine to Yorba Linda, a community where he grew up. His goal every day is to help people achieve optimal health and express their full genetic potential in the most natural way. With computerized treatment, he is able to remove subluxations and free the nervous system from interference and directly impact every system in the body. He’s enjoyed bringing wellness and true health to his family and loved ones, and he’s excited to share this love with his community!

He grew up in Southern California and has lived in the Yorba Linda vicinity for the last 25 years, currently residing in Anaheim Hills with his wife and two children.
